In the late winter of 2019, our daughter, Molley Lanham (19) and her friend went missing. They were found five days later, murdered in a rural part of Porter County.
This unimaginable thing happened, in the blink of an eye, our children were gone. Our families were left to grieve this horrific tragedy and navigate the criminal
justice system virtually alone.
Amidst our pain, we want to keep Molley’s light shining bright and help others suffering from this heartache. That help takes shape in many ways.
Small acts of kindness.
Providing compassionate support and friendship to others.
Offering peer-to-peer support meetings with Greater Midwest POMC at the Molley Lanham comfort house.
Spreading awareness about gun violence prevention.
Offering support to our local agencies so they can better serve survivors of violent crimes.
Partnering with Porter County Prosecutor’s office and the Victim Assistance Unit on the comfort room in the courthouse.
Honoring our loved ones by sharing their stories.
It is difficult for others to understand what we’ve experienced. We are part of a club, a club that we did not ask to be a part of but TOGETHER we can heal. In sharing our experiences with each other, we hope it helps us all find some peace, understanding and purpose in our new lives.
